Cavendish is proud to announce that CEO, Carl Daruvalla, and Founder Stephen Pomeroy, have been jointly ranked #1 in the PRWeek UK Power Book 2026 for Public Affairs (agency). This top ranking reflects the exceptional influence and leadership Cavendish has across Westminster.
The annual PRWeek UK Power Book is widely regarded as a must-read for the UK communications industry, spotlighting the individuals shaping the future of public affairs, corporate communications, and policymaking. This year’s recognition highlights the continued impact of Cavendish’s leadership at the highest levels of government and industry.
Pomeroy and Daruvalla are recognised as a formidable double act, combining decades of public affairs expertise with strong financial and operational leadership. Pomeroy founded Cavendish more than 25 years ago and is widely regarded as a trusted high-level strategist, while Daruvalla – who previously served as the agency’s Chief Financial Officer – led a successful management buyout in 2022 and now drives the firm’s strategic growth as CEO.
Under their joint leadership, Cavendish has gone from strength to strength. In 2025, the agency expanded its footprint with several successful acquisitions, which have provided clients with strategic communications across all four devolved nations.
Together with the senior leadership team, they combine decades of public affairs expertise with financial and operational leadership that has shaped Cavendish’s growth and culture, from a management buyout in 2022, to award wins such as Best Public Affairs Agency at the 2025 PRWeek UK Corporate Affairs Awards, the recent 2026 PRCA Public Affairs Awards – Best Large Consultancy, and being named one of the UK’s Best Places to Work by The Sunday Times – for the second year running.
A huge congratulations to Carl, Stephen, and all those named in this year’s Public Affairs Power Book.
