For the second year running, we’ve been recognised as one of the UK’s best places to work in the annual Sunday Times listing.

One of only three comms consultancies to be included in the list, Cavendish was recognised for a range of standout staff initiatives – including a comprehensive wellbeing package with flexible working, private healthcare, discounted gym memberships, free annual health checks, and a subscription to the mental health and wellbeing app, Headspace.

Carl Daruvalla, our CEO, said:

“Our ambition is to build a world class consultancy and being included in the Sunday Times list for the second year running, alongside some of the UK’s most admired brands, is a huge milestone in our journey to achieving that.

“Our people are at the heart of the initiatives that impressed the judges – from our genuinely flexible working offer and industry-leading wellbeing scheme to our annual staff celebration, CavFest. We go even further with our Your August initiative, which gives employees the freedom to work from any location throughout August.

“To be recognised for the inclusive culture we’ve been working so hard to establish is hugely important. Initiatives like Cavendish Culture and our LGBTQI+ and Neurodiversity groups are led and driven by our teams and promote diversity, understanding and advocacy across the business. Their success reflects the culture we’re creating – one that’s inclusive, ambitious and full of heart.”

The prestigious Sunday Times Best Places to Work, powered by WorkL, honours and celebrates the UK’s top employers and highlights the best workplaces for women, the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled employees, ethnically diverse, younger and older workers, as well as those that provide the best wellbeing support. It uses 26 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey, developed by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders, academics and other independent parties to most accurately monitor employee engagement, wellbeing and discretionary effort in the workplace.

To achieve a high overall engagement score, an organisation must score well across WorkL’s six-step framework: Reward and Recognition, Instilling Pride, Information Sharing, Empowerment, Wellbeing and Job Satisfaction.
