PayPlan appoints Cavendish to lead UK public relations

Published

Leading debt advice provider PayPlan has appointed Cavendish to support its public relations activity in the UK.

The appointment follows a period of significant investment in the business and comes as PayPlan undertakes a brand refresh, designed to enhance its position and strengthen its visibility as the leading source of clear, honest advice and debt solutions in the UK.

We will support PayPlan in building its reputation and share of voice in the national conversation around debt and financial resilience. The programme will combine creative campaigning with proactive engagement across national, personal finance, lifestyle and broadcast media, alongside a persona-led case study approach that brings to life the real stories of people PayPlan has helped.

Our team will also build the profile of PayPlan’s experts through thought leadership, research and data-driven insights, helping to normalise the conversation about debt and shift the focus from why people fall into it to how they get out of it – and stay out of it. Alongside this, we’ll support communications around PayPlan’s continued investment in its people and technology, including the AI and digital services helping more people engage with debt advice, and the recent opening of its new London office.

Our Head of Brand Communications, Verity Barr, said:

PayPlan is a business with a genuinely human story to tell. For more than 30 years it has helped people take control of their finances, and it’s now bringing fresh energy, technology and insight to a conversation too often defined by stigma. Modern debt doesn’t look like a stereotype – it looks like life. We’re proud to be supporting the team in making debt advice something people aren’t afraid to talk about.

If you’re looking to build your profile, strengthen your reputation, and lead the conversation in your sector, we’d love to hear from you. Contact our team here.
