Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee

Our role

Cavendish works with the Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee to develop and deliver integrated communications programmes focused on scientific engagement, media relations and digital content.

Our work includes management and development of the Coffee & Health digital platform, which provides access to scientific studies, expert commentary and educational resources for healthcare professionals, academics, journalists and consumers.

Alongside ongoing scientific communications activity, we develop campaigns and media engagement programmes designed to bring emerging research findings into wider public discussion in an accessible and engaging way.

This has included activity around cognitive performance, mood, exercise and wellbeing, helping communicate complex health topics through relatable storytelling and expert-led content.

The challenge

As public interest in nutrition, wellbeing and lifestyle health increased, organisations operating within the food and beverage sector faced growing challenges around misinformation, oversimplified health narratives and fragmented public debate.

For Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee, the challenge was to strengthen public understanding of emerging scientific research around coffee and health while ensuring credible, evidence-based information reached media, healthcare and public audiences across Europe.

The organisation needed to translate complex scientific findings into accessible and engaging communications capable of supporting informed public understanding and maintaining trust within an increasingly noisy health information environment.
