Voters are abandoning Labour, to every political party. A fractured left and the growing pull of populism on both sides are dragging London’s politics into uncharted territory.

Our modelling shows Labour losing at least one in three councillors, control of 10 local authorities, resulting in a sharp rise in no overall control councils, fragile coalitions and new challengers on both the left and right.
