Cavendish assisted by engaging extensively with the local community through a bespoke website which provided accessible information and held community meetings to address any concerns held by local residents.
The support mobilisation proved extremely effective, with the planning application receiving 413 comments, 83% of which were supportive. In the face of challenges posed by NPF4 for developments of this kind, the success of this application exemplifies the impact that effective stakeholder engagement and community support can have.
