We are proud to be sponsoring along with Savills the latest Place North West virtual mayoral debate of the 2021 elections.

Candidates participating in this free event include Greater Manchester mayoral hopefuls Andy Burnham from Labour and Simon Lepori from the Liberal Democrats. From Liverpool, Labour candidate Steve Rotheram, the Green Party’s Gary Cargill, and the Conservatives’ Jade Marsden will take to the virtual stage as they compete to become metro mayor of the Liverpool City Region.

The event will see the region’s leading property and construction decision makers gather to hear the candidates discuss their priorities and policies for the Greater Manchester and Liverpool city regions, ahead of the elections on 6 May 2021.

Delegates will be offered the unique opportunity to ask the contenders exactly what they plan to do to tackle issues affecting the economic and social development of the North West’s biggest conurbations.

Topics for debate will include:

  • Housing
  • Transport and infrastructure
  • Development and investment
  • Skills and unemployment
  • Health and social care
  • Green Belt release and the new-look Greater Manchester Spatial Framework
  • Impact of Brexit
  • Candidates’ personal priorities

Please note this event is for the property business community, and the webinar will be covering issues related to this sector. You must work in the property industry to attend. Registrations will close at 4pm Friday 12 March.
