Scotland’s policy landscape is becoming more complex, a picture starkly painted by the by-election result in Aberdeen South.

But while Scottish policy and politics is evolving, it remains stable compared to Westminster, where UK Government engagement is now seemingly tied to the fortunes of Andy Burnham, his policy platform, and the team he selects to support him.

In an environment where cross-party negotiation, enhanced parliamentary scrutiny, , the constitutional question, and the culture of devolution all shape outcomes, success depends on knowing not only who to engage, but how to do so in a way that applies the right influence to the right part of the system at the right time.

Organisations that can navigate this landscape effectively are better placed to manage risk, influence policy, and make progress in Scotland while UK politics  remains in flux.
