Tom Andrews
Account Director

Tom brings extensive communications and engagement expertise to the table, particularly in the northern region of England. With a robust background in executing successful engagement and consultation programs, he has honed his skills over the years. In 2019, HS2 Ltd commissioned Cavendish, alongside Arup, to develop an engagement strategy covering the land access and survey team’s work while supporting the client’s commitment to being a good neighbour and ensuring people get the very best service when interacting with the project. The main purpose of Tom’s role within the HS2 project was to interact with businesses and the general public with the aim of convincing them to enter into Early Access Ecology Licences. In order to achieve this, Tom had to use a very high level of both written and verbal communication including many face-to-face meetings with both landowners and professional agents. These were often-challenging meetings but were also an opportunity to promote the case for High Speed 2 to directly affected landowners.
