James is an experienced communications professional with a track-record of delivering effective and targeted communications and engagement campaigns.
During his career at Cavendish, James has worked alongside combined authorities, local authorities, and Government departments, as well as some of the UK’s biggest private companies, including McDonald’s and GSK.
With a detailed knowledge of both TCPA and NSIP consenting, James specialises in providing planning communications advice and services to a wide portfolio of clients in sectors including property, strategic land, commercial, retail, logistics, hotels, energy, transport and aviation.
James is particularly active across the South East, East, and London, advising clients and developing communication strategies that respond to changing political landscapes.



As part of our Midlands team, Alex has an acute understanding of the challenges facing developers across the region, particularly in rural areas. He specialises in delivering communications on major infrastructure and energy projects, supporting Vattenfall’s 1.8GW Norfolk Vanguard wind farm, various National Highways schemes, HS2 Ltd, National Grid and JBM Solar.
Alex provides developers with expert advice on how best to engage these sensitive and often tight-knit localities, relishing the opportunity to meet communities, relay information and change perceptions.



With a proven track record, James delivers successful engagement strategies for a variety of residential, commercial, and strategic projects. Experienced in London and the South of England, he adeptly manages complex schemes for clients including Redrow, Aldi, and British Land. Notably, he spearheaded stakeholder engagement and media management for a large sustainable urban extension. As an Account Manager, James handles the day-to-day client contact and oversees strategy execution throughout project lifecycles.



Alexander is a Senior Account Executive with experience in the English and Welsh planning systems. A diverse project portfolio, his work spans DCOs to hyper-local developments. Utilising his skills in community engagement, insight, and social media, Alex supports clients in the energy, residential and hospitality sectors. An active political campaigner he helps support clients to connect and build support within local communities. Alexander is responsible for day-to-day deliverables across a range of client accounts.



Dario originally joined Cavendish in spring 2022. as an Account Executive. Two promotions later, Dario is an Account Manager based in our Glasgow office.
He supports on a number of property, infrastructure and renewables projects across Scotland.
With a background in digital marketing and communications, he complements his knowledge of the planning environment with and ability to plan and implement written content that concisely conveys messaging and drives engagement.
