Recently we sat down with Founder of Community Energy Pathways, Ollie Pendered to explore some of the key ideas shaping projects where local people collectively own, manage or benefit from energy generation.
They delved into the benefits, risks and challenges facing community energy groups, funding pressures and the need for long term support, what barriers are currently holding projects back, and the steps government could take to help community energy scale and thrive.
