We’ve only gone and done it again – for the second year running, we’ve been named one of the UK’s Best Places to Work by The Sunday Times. Go us.
This recognition isn’t just a badge of honour. It’s a reflection of something we’ve built together.
The Sunday Times list, powered by WorkL, is grounded in science and shaped by people. It’s based on direct feedback from our teams – measuring their views on everything from reward and recognition to pride, communication, empowerment, wellbeing and job satisfaction.
That we’ve scored so highly across the board is a testament to the culture we’ve all helped shape.
Among dozens of organisations, we stood out as one of only a handful of communications consultancies to make the list. The judges looked closely at how businesses support their people through inclusion, wellbeing, engagement and overall satisfaction. And what they saw in us was a community that puts people first – something that shone through when we asked a few of our guys why they love working at Cavendish:

Two weeks ago, Tommy Robinson was kicked out of a Hawksmoor restaurant. That single decision triggered a national pile-on.
In the first 48 hours, there were more than 50,000 posts about the incident on X, generating over 50 million views. Most of it was driven by outrage accounts like Laurence Fox, Calvin Robinson and others who know exactly how to spin moments like this into viral content.

Still Green: why Net Zero Communications need to grow up.
We talk about Net Zero delivering green growth, green jobs, and clean energy. Is this language accessible and understandable to the public? How does Net Zero deliver growth, jobs, and clean energy? What does this look like in practical terms?
For businesses, some have been accused of greenwashing in the past, with the term becoming a well-known phrase nowadays. Now, many are practising greenhushing – the act of pursuing sustainable goals but not shouting about doing so.
This all speaks to a core conclusion – the way we communicate needs to mature.
That’s why we’ve arranged this panel event, to discuss what current perceptions are of Net Zero and explore how we can improve how we communicate the topic.
