Kevin has a deep understanding of the politics of planning having specialised in political advocacy, community consultation and campaigning for clients across the built environment over the last 13 years.
Leading our team across the North & Midlands, he has experience across the property, energy and infrastructure sectors, supporting clients including Aldi, BAM, CEMEX, Miller Homes, National Grid, Peel and Uniper. He works with local communities and their elected representatives to understand the need for and build acceptance of change to our built environment.



Adam has a track record of delivering effective and engaging communication campaigns. He understands the Midlands political landscape and has a well-established network of contacts, from MPs to councillors and council leaders. He has over 10 years of experience working within political communications and local government. He has advised some of the UK’s biggest brands including Aldi, McDonald’s, and St. Modwen Homes. Adam leads our Midlands region, heading up teams operating out of our Birmingham and Nottingham offices.



Tristan is a passionate advocate for sustainable economic development in Birmingham and the West Midlands. As a former cabinet member at Birmingham City Council and MPs constituency assistant Tristan enjoys unparalleled local connections. He can offer insight into both the politics of the region and its varied communities.
His current portfolio of projects includes regeneration schemes, aviation, infrastructure, retail and residential. Tristan leads our work in the West Midlands, based out of our Birmingham office.



As part of our Midlands team, Alex has an acute understanding of the challenges facing developers across the region, particularly in rural areas. He specialises in delivering communications on major infrastructure and energy projects, supporting Vattenfall’s 1.8GW Norfolk Vanguard wind farm, various National Highways schemes, HS2 Ltd, National Grid and JBM Solar.
Alex provides developers with expert advice on how best to engage these sensitive and often tight-knit localities, relishing the opportunity to meet communities, relay information and change perceptions.



Kelham is a political and communications adviser with more than a decade’s experience in local government, development and public engagement. A former council leader and now a Lincolnshire County councillor, he offers expert insight into navigating the political and planning landscape.
At Cavendish, Kelham advises leading developers and land promoters on communications strategy, consultation, and stakeholder engagement, supporting major residential, logistics and renewable energy projects across the Midlands.
Based in the Nottingham office, he leads on political engagement and provides strategic counsel to clients and colleagues, while also playing a key role in business development.



Alexander brings valuable experience of the Welsh and English planning systems to Cavendish, with a strong track record of supporting infrastructure and energy projects. Alexander’s skills in community and political engagement, social media, and delivering compliant consultation with appropriate communications has a proven track record of success.
Adept at working on controversial developments, Alexander can facilitate both local politician and community engagement and can unlock resident engagement on challenging schemes.
Alexander can confidently create, manage, and execute communications strategies for projects of all scope and keeping it to budget and time constraints. Some key clients he has successfully run communication campaigns for include RWE, Barratt David Wilson Homes, Aldi, McDonald’s and National Highways.



Matt, based in our Nottingham office, excels at stakeholder and community engagement. Previously Matt worked for a Member of Parliament for over 8 years, and served as a Borough Councillor, with experience as a Cabinet Member and Planning Committee Member. He supports a broad range of clients, such as Aldi and RWE, and is passionate about helping clients navigate a changing political landscape. His regional political network and local government experience make him a significant asset in any project.



Rhys has deep experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and campaign delivery. He combines commercial focus with creative thinking to manage complex projects and build lasting client relationships.
He has led major campaigns across infrastructure, healthcare, defence, and retail in the Midlands, and brings a strong track record in political communications, having delivered winning strategies for candidates in several elections.
At Cavendish, Rhys leads key client accounts, working on projects that drive growth and investment across the Midlands.



Poppy is a Senior Account Executive based in our Birmingham office. Her background in political research forms a strong foundation for her work, bringing with her a deep understanding of political messaging from her time as a research assistant.
Poppy has supported on a wide range of projects in the Midlands, North East, and Wales. She has experience working on TCPA and DCO projects across different sectors, facilitating meaningful engagement with local communities and stakeholders.



Ellie is an Account Executive based in our Birmingham office. Recently graduating with a Masters in International Public and Political Communication from the University of Sheffield, she is particularly interested in the opportunities provided by emerging ICTs and social media for decentralising political communications, and making them more accessible to previously disengaged audiences.
Having previously studied French at the University of Exeter, Ellie is highly skilled in translating and interpretation, with a keen understanding of the intricacies and implications of register, tone and language choices on overall reception and engagement. As an Account Executive, Ellie utilises these skills to support projects across a range of industries, particularly in the West Midlands region.



Campbell is an Account Executive in our Nottingham office, currently undertaking a placement year with Cavendish as part of his International Relations degree at Nottingham Trent University.
With previous experience in communications at his local town council, Campbell has developed a strong appreciation for the people behind politics. He is particularly interested in how individual motivations, backgrounds, and relationships influence political decision-making.
