We’re please to announce that BECG has claimed the No.1 spot in PRWeek’s Public Affairs rankings.

The BECG Group, incorporating Cavendish Advocacy, CrowdControlHQ and Liberty One, was also highlighted as one of the strongest performers on PRWeek’s Top 150, moving up 15 places to 40.

At the start of 2020, the pandemic accelerated the trend towards digital and forced organisations to rethink how they engage with employees, customers, and communities. Being at the forefront of innovation in the communications sector, we were poised to support our clients with virtual engagement solutions, from immersive virtual exhibitions through to virtual events, from virtual policy events and political stakeholder meetings. We also acquired a social media management platform to provide clients valuable insight and analysis.

Our national presence has also been a key driver of growth, with our regional experts offering clients’ a thorough understanding of their geographies. Our latest acquisition of Scottish public affairs consultancy, Liberty One, provides us with a presence across Scotland through offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, and the expertise to identify opportunities within the distinct policy agenda of the Scottish government.

Despite the challenges, the past year has presented, it was a truly an excellent year for the Group. I am extremely proud of all the teams across the Group, each has shown exceptional creativity, resilience, and commitment to our clients throughout the pandemic.

Our recent acquisitions of CrowdControlHQ and Liberty One mean we are expertly placed to continue supporting clients with all their communications needs, as well as providing real insight on the Government’s ‘levelling up’ agenda.
