How we Assisted
Cavendish was appointed during the second phase of the consultation process to manage engagement with the local community and stakeholders, as well as to mobilise support from both politicians and members of the public.
Despite strong opposition from the local community, our efforts resulted in generating a significant number of supportive representations, helping balance the narrative and highlight the mix of views.
The outcome

In March 2023, the application came before the Planning Committee of North Ayrshire Council for consideration and the council raised no objection to the proposed development.
In September 2023, the planning application received approval from the Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit.
